For just the basic coverage (liability and PIP) it will probably be $700 to $1000 per year.
I'd suggest checking out progressive.com or gieco.com for exact numbers. They give free online quotes.

RE :Insurance cost for a 1996 toyota 4runner?
What do you think would be the aproximate insureance cost for a 16 year old with this suv with just liability in MO?
Update: I have no accidents or violations, I've passed drivers ed with an A, I'd be on my parents plan with american family, and I would get the good grade discount.

greetings..insurance premiums are based on several factors. age, driving record, type of vehicle, and location. for example; here in Los Angeles, a 16 year old person residing in a lower to middle class community, with no tickets, driving a moderate vehicle(1500 to 3500$), will pay $800 to $1600 a year. now take the same 16 year old, and a low class community with tickets driving a sports car or a 4wheel drive SUV, can pay upwards of $1200 to $2200 annually. these quotes are accurate for Los Angeles liability. my i suggest trying www.google and search liability auto insurance for your county in MO.. once linked to the page, you'll be asked specific information in turn receiving a basic quote your seeking. good luck

not enough information to tell. DO you have any accidents or violations, do you have a good student discount? would it be on your parents policy? Did you take a drivers ed course? all of these come into play. I live in minnesota so I don't know much about laws in other states, but here you have to be under a parents policy and boys are rated at a much higher rate, i would imagine it could cost you as much as $1,000 every six months.

Doesn't really matter! Insurance companies look at your age and driving history to which you have both against you! You are a male under the age of 25 and you have no driving experience! Therefore, they will hit you pretty hard in the wallet!
