No. God does not remove temptation. You created temptation by thinking about it, same way God created you. Regardless of how well you think you understand your problem, you have allowed your feelings to remain more significant than your thoughtful analysis by acting when you should be doing nothing.
The only way to program yourself away from temptation is to think about something else. The more time you spend thinking about something the heavier it gets in terms of raw potential energy. The serial basis of transferrence implies amplication.
If you think about exponentially expanding powers, destinations and beings all the time, i.e. Heaven, Eden, Las Vegas, you don't just envision them, you create them by psychically creating distribution matrices for energy storage in the stratum of binary flow...
But you have been taught by your influences to focus on one thing. Somebody told you the worst thing you could ever do, and deep down you believed it and were afraid. And you never let go of that fear, whether it be humiliation or death.
So you try to cover it up with making yourself feel different. You find ways to pleasure yourself. Anything at all can be an addiction. An addiction is nothing more than a bad dream and heartburn compared to finding the meaning of life and death. But it's just enough to cover your heavier emotions that would have you terrified beyond belief. Or enraged you long enough to keep you from sitting still long enough to see how simple it all is: gather energy and you gather reality.
Give up guilt, resentment and fear. Only you can do that. Set your intention to evolution. It is never too late...
Because the truth is: Life is a big smorgasbord, and you filled up on pork. You can stop any time.
If you posses any ability, it is to fill the world with whatever you think about.
Deal with it like the rest of us.

Why would he remove temptation? That would be too easy and would be boring. Besides, being tempted is kinda fun if you really think about it... making a bad choice is lack of self-control.
