at least us guys can be honest and say we go for women we find hot, screw the personality,
we can be honest that way. but women want to lie about it.

What? Are you jealous? You sound jealous. hhhmmmm. Actually, here is the truth. The good looking guys are for the most part shallow and so they get a good looking girll who is also shallow and so there you have it. A match. Do you really want a shallow girl that goes for only looks? Personality can have physical traits. If someone who on the outside is somewhat unattractive but has a great personality and takes care of themselves, then they can become very attractive to another. You just have to find the right ones. Girls who take the time to get to know someone before diving into the sheets are the ones worth while. And that is the kind of girl you want. You don't want a "chick". you want a WOMAN! truthfully, girls do go for looks first, but thats just because its the first thing one notices. (and everyone wants a good looking boyfriend haha) but different people find different things about a person attractive. For me though, looks dont do everything. I think that the least attractive thing a guy can do, no matter how he looks, is to drink or smoke constantly, or treat people with disrespect. The best looking guy on the face of the earth could ask me out, but if his personality wasn't something that I appreciated, I wouldnt go out with him. Also, personality grows on people. So, even if there is a guy who is not that attractive, but he has a great personality, people will start to find him more attractive over time.

Geez...got some anger issues there? I will give you this much...there's gotta be some physical attraction in the beginning or it's probably gonna be a no go. Keep in mind with that though, what attracts one person will not attract another. And too, I've been out with some really good looking guys...and found out they had zero personalities. I can't deal with that. It's like talking to a freakin mannequin. Where's the fun in that???

focus on intelligence, personality, and even manners in men. And maybe the "chicks" with the good looking guys have Paris Hilton mentalities...I bet their conversation is lacking.

cause the chicks go for good looking guys. im guessing that by chicks u mean hot girls. yeah, they have no brains, so they dont care if thir bf doesnt either. and of course girls go for hot guys, i mean, who was to go out with a drop-dead ugly guy? but if the smart ones (not the 'chicks') find out that the guy has a bad personality, then they will dump him. u may not belive me, but thats the truth

Looks help. But after many pretty boys in college (one is my sons dad, good genes) I have been with an average guy for years. We learn as we grow up. My man is kind, considerate, great with the kids and hardworking. And that is better than any Jeter lookalike. It just takes time to realise it.But back in college? Hell yeah, pretty boys only .

Good looking guys often have more confidence! Women have the eye on a guy for it's look first of course but we fall then for his personality. When we get to know a guy better, whatever his looks then he has more chance we fall for his personality. Most bf I had didn't had a good look but they had confidence and were charming :-)

Personality is more important to me! Looks do matter, but I'm not going to date a guy based on his looks because most guys that look really good are full of themselves!

i think youre being narrow minded about this. yes, i like a guy thats easy on the eyes, but if hes a dick to me, im not going to stick around.
honestly, ive gone for some guys that are sort of... well, under-my league, for lack of a nicer way to put it. im not saying im drop dead gorgeous or the perfect catch, but as far as looks go, ive gone for guys who've made my friends (male and female) go 'ewww....' ok, so maybe they werent that harsh, but they didnt see what i saw in him, which was his personality
maybe you should find a way to turn a girls head without worring about looks. girls do notice personality. but you have to show it. and not be a dick about 'girls lying' dont take it so personally. the more you complain about it, the less of your personality we want to see

well maybe the guy is hot and also has an awesome personality. that is a double-treat you can't fight that. yes we look for personality. We can't just go out with a hot looking jerk it doesnt work that way. He has to have everything.
