Say i am hungry: well say its time for dinner or lunch... and I have to eat 1 cheeseburger, 1 burrito, mashed potatoes and gravy, 1 bowl of mixted veges (lettuce, tomatos, carrots, broccoli, colyflower, bell pepper) and a bowl of mixed fruit (orange slices and grape fruit slices)

Does it matter what I eat first? If i eat the junk (cheesebuger and borrito (since im hungry) is it going to take all the nutrience from that and then when i get to the veges and fruit it doesnt care for that as much)?? or should i go for the protein first? does it matter?

The reasoning behind the "eat your veggies first" is from the fact that it gets your digestive track going so it is ready to take on the task of digesting the foods that are harder to break down. It helps with lower the risk of digestive problems.

No, it doesn't really matter what you eat first because all of it will be digested the same way, and your body will absorb the nutrients you need. However, I would suggest eating your fruits and vegetables before the main course..that way you won't eat as much fatty foods.

It does not matter, but it sure makes a difference in your apetitie. Say you eat a cheese burger and a burrito first, you won't be as hungry to eat your vegetables. I would go with the vegetables first.

doesnt matter what you eat first. your body doesnt fill up on what it is going to absorb and discard the rest.
the average human eats 2-2 1/2 gallons of food a day and we only expell 12 oz. the rest is absorbed. poo is 90% water

i dunno if it really matters. but my dad had high cholestoral and his doctor said to eat veggies and less fatty foods first. so he did and it really made a difference. so now the whole family does it. i think it matters the health content of what you eat overall. if you have a well balanced and fairly healthy diet, then it shouldn't matter what you eat first.
