Can't find a Yahoo group, but I have the name?

I have the name of a Yahoo group, but when I search for the group so that I can join, I can't find it. Are groups unpublished? And if so, how does one join?

I have had the same problem.
It seems that yahoo closes what they consider questionable and this just might be the case here. I once in a while I get Emails about a site that does list what they call "unlisted" group sites, but I have never used it and sorry to say now, that I don't know/remember the site.
