Ok, first of all at 12 he isn't going to be much more mature than he is anyway.

Second of all blackmail by video tape will only make matters worse.

What this child is seeking is some quality attention.

How much time do you spend doing things with him? I know it is hard to do when he is being annoying but in time it will make a big difference.

Children, and many adults, don't always know how to express their needs, concerns, feeling, and thoughts. Therefore they end up acting up.

Find ways to let your brother know he is important in your life. Make a date to spend time with him, maybe take him to a movie or the arcade room.

Ever watch super nanny?

I've seen this work on her show, and I've seen it work with my own children.

Back to the video taping, and lets include ignoring and similar actions... How would you feel if you were wanting someones attention and affection and all they did was push you away and threaten you?

Crazy enough all boys go thru this stage when they reach puberty. I call it acting squirley. I bet his voice is either changing or will be changing soon. The hormones are raging and he doesnt know what to do with himself. He is probably acting like a total goof ball. He probably is starting to grow some peach fuzz barely noticeable on his top lip now or maybe in a year or so. and his voice has gotten louder and he is probably acting more aggresive than usual, and is being a total nird and a wierdo.
He may even start being disagreeable with your parents and you.
My son jumped out of the car going 40 mph down the street when he was 13 and took off walking. I thought he had certainly about killed himself until he finally arrived home. I blame it all on testosterone and hormones. These things shall all pass and he will eventually grow up to be a man and you will be proud to have him as a brother. Just have some fun with him, but dont tell him I told you all of this because it will only make it worse. Patience will prevail and he will grow up.

no longer all 12 12 months previous's act such as you bratty little sister there is not any could stereotype all 12 12 months previous's as immature.yet some are far extra mature then your sister, and wow your mom took away her telephone vast deal there is not any could share that with the international.no could be a hater yet no longer all 12 12 months previous think of that your ultimate somewhat this 12 12 months previous, and yeah there become no prefer to your sister to act like that. do no longer choose her like that reason sooner or later you may loose her. edit: you cant purely base your opinion on one individual no person and all acts like that

It's normal pre teen behavior, just ignore it. My younger brother is 13, and still acts 4 sometimes, regardless of what anyone does. Here's a trick I've learned: secretly video tape his immature behavior, then threaten to show the tape to his friends. Yes it's blackmail, but it gets the job done!

Ummmm...this sounds like typical 12 year old behavior.

Unfortunately, the only thing that you can do is deal with it 'til he does grow up some.

IF he's slapping you, inform your mom and dad of this, so they can punish him. You should also be informing him that you are not a punching bag, and that he needs to respect your space.

He's 12, it's part of puberty...I guess you were way more mature at that age than he is right? (Yeah sure you were)

What do your parents think? This is their responsibility.
