I have slept with my significant other for the last 5 years and suddenly, I am waking up at 4 or 5 AM and cannot get back to sleep. I stay up until midnite and still wake up in the wee hours of the morning. I get very tired at about 3 in the afternoon and if I happen to be off that day, I can sleep from 3 until the evening news comes on TV. My significant other is out of town at nite for his job and maybe I miss him or something. What is wrong with me?

You have your bodies time clock all out of wack. Get back to a regular sleep schedule and you'll be alright.

You miss him. Don't take naps during the day and find something to busy you until your normal bedtime. This will help with along with a cup of tea until he returns

sounds like your significant other being gone is disrupting your sleep. don't let yourself take a nap and hopefully you can get back on track before he/she gets home. if you must nap, keep it down to about 1/2 hour.
