Diet soda, depending on the sweetener used, can have 0 calories, no sugar, no fat. That doesn't mean that it's good for you. The carbonation raises the CO2 levels in your bloodstream, the phosphoric acid makes your blood more acidic, so the body pulls calcium from your bones to balance it out, and when your tongue tastes the sweetness, your pancreas releases insulin in preparation for the sugar it expects. When there is none, the insulin takes whatever there is which causes a low sugar state. Your brain, which operates on carbohydrates (sugar) then thinks you are starving, sending a signal to EAT NOW!! If you want 0 sugar, fat and calories, water is better.

The question should be "is it healthy for you" and the answer is NO. Stay away from this stuff it. Regular pop is full of sugar but diet soda is full of aspertame which has been proven to be worse than sugar healthwise. I recommend to stay away from both but if you must, drink the real thing.

definite, eating routine soda truly has 0 energy. yet you're authentic, that would not recommend its better healthful than accepted soda because it has an incredible style of chemical substances which includes aspartane which isn't reliable for you in any respect. i'd stay remote from all sorts of soda for the most area. Having it sometimes is wonderful, yet merely sometimes.

Yes. But you are ingesting a number of other chemicals. Not to sound paranoid, but stay away from aspartame or NutraSweet. It is not particularly good for you and it leaves a horrible aftertaste. Drink things that are sweetened with Splenda.

Read up on NutraSweet.

Yes, they have artificial sweeteners instead of sugar. So, they are basically artificially flavored artificially sweetened carbonated water. Ummm, doesnt that sound appetizing. BTW, there is no artificial sweetener that is safe. They are all, in varying degrees of severity, carcinogenic.

Yep. If you have to have soda, have that, but not too much! A couple cans a day won't hurt.
