My mom had really curly hair and then decided to have a salon do it. It stays for about 3 and a half to four years. Then as the chemical or what ever grows out your hair is curly hair again.

I have thick curly hair down past my butt and my daughter straightens mine with her $20 revlon straightner and it works great!
I have also straightened mine with chemicals many moons ago when I was just a teenager but like someone else said I don't recommend this, it fries your hair and it does not wash out eventually like a perm or hair coloring would, it is there until it grows out and gets cut off.

DONT get your hair chemically straightened. When your regrowth happens it looks ridiculous.
I have really curly hair and to straighten I start by blowdrying it straight with a big paddle brush in sections. And I use LACOUPE Sleek Serum. Then I straigten it with a straightener section by section, but small sections. Good Luck.

I have horribly curly hair and live in FL. humidity, but my hair is usually straight. DO NOT CHEMICALLY STRAIGHTEN!! It took me ys. to grow out the fried hair! You need a ceramic Iron, from a salon like the CHI. Chi also has shampoo, cond., and this transformation serum that work wonders!

you can go to a salon and have them put a special chemical on it that's really the only way, and then you only have to use a straightener a little bit every day....my friend who's black and has really curly black hair kinky gets it done chemically...go to a salon and check it out.

either gen a straightener or go get a wash that'll straighten it, but the wash can be expensive and the straightener can damage your hair...
learn to love the hair you got!

invest in a ceramic straightner-they wont damage your hair. wet-to-dry straigheners work really well with Biosilk.
