A car is a lot of responsibility, they should be an adult, that would be 18 before they can drive and over 100 or deemed unfit by their doctor.before the privilege is taken away

I think it depends on the person.Some older folks should not be driving,but others do just as well as the others on the road.My father is 86,still drives.He was never in an accident his entire life until last year when a young woman taking on a cell phone ran into him as he was going through an intersection.I think driving skills should be retested every so many years for every one.A good way to weed out the ones that shouldn't be on the road.

it's not age but a lot of things including physical, mental and plain skill. I know some fifty year olds who are morep hysically capable of driving than 18 some 18 year olds.

i would say 25 since not being able to drive now is really ridiculous. even if you don't have a car at least learn the skill!
