if you are deciding on a one meal menu decide on your entee(meat) first.......then decide on your side dishes next.......they should complement your choice......usually the dessert is chosen to counteract the meal........EXAMPLE #1........BabyBack ribs glazed with BBQ sauce........your side sides could be baked potato or mashed served with a garden toss salad.....yeast rolls and since your entree was hot to spicy your dessert should be something sweet and cool to refresh your mouth's palate.....something like key lime pie EXAMPLE #2.......grilled chicken breast that has been marinated in italian dressing served with a rice pilaf and italian green beans and garlic bread.....your dessert to accompany this low calorie meal could be a simple serving of fruit like strawberries topped with cool whip.........if you are designing a full menu like for a restaurant decide on the type of restaurant(mexican,italian,home-style cooking...etc) your menu should begin with NAME of restaurant........then appetizers served.......then beverages..........then menu items that are separated by type(beef,chicken,pork,seafood).........if you have a house speciality list that too in a special area.......finallly are desserts..............usually wine lists are set up separate from the menu...........my final suggestion is to go to restaurant and borrow or receive their menu..........if you explain to the manager your task ...they probably will accommadate your request..........use that as a base for your project........also check the phone book.......my phone book lists restaurant with their menus for easy call in orders that would work too for ideas........HOPE YOU GET A GREAT GRADE

www.cavescripts.com This will take you to a page where you can hit on (ie:www.zoysterbar.com or other addresses) and it will show you the menu of that particular restaurant. There is a lot to choose from, menu wise on this page.
Good luck.

Do you mean for a meal, or for a mock restaurant? And what guidelines were you given?
