You forfeit almost all benefits by being discharged under less than honorable category. Most benefits specify that you have to be discharged honorably.

It depends more on the type of discharge. Did they give it to you as a general under honorable conditions or a general under conditions other than honorable?

A general under honorable conditions still has some benefits, under other than honorbale does not.

i got an honorable discharge. i dont know what all these benefits are that everybodies talking about.

if you get less than honorable discharge, you don't get jack!!! makes you wish you were a better soldier now.....
