I would become an artist of some sort. I probably will anyway. Just be yourself. There is a good reason you are whom you are.

Well you do not say how old you are, so I just have to think harder.
If you can use a computer..no matter how slow, and get into this site...your no way POOR LEARNER!
So good for you, o.k....now as we all get older, we get slower.I am 52, and I have poor short term memory too.I left school 3 months into high school, and am self taught...We are able to do that, being older. For the depression there has to be free clinics
in your country..If you had told where you are...maybe we could have looked one up for you.If you can get into Google search,it may find one free clinic...o.k. depression can be fixed, but you need to see a free doctor at a free clinic...Even in Africa they have them....its just a matter of finding one.You really MUST address the depression FIRST! before anything else.o.k. its just better for you, all round....So if you wish to write another question on free clinics-in your country-then maybe one of use, can help you...I am sure, someone will look it up, if I am not on line...when you do.There are a lot a great people on this site, believe me.
So lets address the depression first, and see if you can't get better...Thats if your up to doing it...If not, then the also serious phobia of meeting people outside, also can't be properly fixed...
Just do one thing at a time....and it can, get much better for you.But you...have to want the help.o.k.

Yes. Not only can you survive, but you can thrive. You must live in the USA if companies prefer non-English speaking employees (kidding, a little). I suggest learning cognitive therapy for the depression and phobia thing. It's helped me a lot. One of the keys is believing in yourself and that you can accomplish a lot if you use a little patience and persistence. Here are some links:

And my story:

You don't 'sound' like a poor learner to me. I felt the same way about myself until someone said: "you're not a slow learner, you're a thorough learner". That stuck with me ever since.

i take it you are not from the usa. here in the usa we have agencies that will help you. for instance we have a place called community mental health. they get pretty involved. check for such a listing or something like it in your area. good luck.
you are not dumb i can tell that by your writing.
