I have been dating this guy for a while. We really like eachother and we're about to become boyfriend/girlfriend.

The other night, he asked me to wear my leather skirt, boots, and a tank top.

I asked, "why" and he replied, "because you look hot in leather".

Is this a bad sign?

this is a good sign. men never pay attention to what women wear, so this means he likes you. whats so wrong with liking what someone wears, your looking too far into things too soon into the relationship. chill out, and have fun

I think it is, but that is my personal opinion. I would not want anyone (man or woman) to ask me to wear something specific. This could be a sign of controlling a person. Not good. A better thing he could have said was when you wore that outfit was to say, "You really look nice in that". If you liked him, you'd probably wear that more often. I find it creepy. I wouldn't like it at all. The question is -- how do you feel about it? If you are okay with it, then hey go for it. To each their own.

As long as he's not asking you to wear your Wonder Woman costume, or crotchless panties, no it doesn't sound creepy at all. Since he's complementing you on the way you look in a certain outfit, I think you should oblige him, at least once. Now if it gets to be a habit.....that could be different

Why would it be a bad thing? Do you or do you not want to have sex with this guy...that is what you should be asking yourself. If you dont want to then wear some jeans but if you want to get it on...wear the skirt..he is not being bossy he is just telling you what he likes.

Uh, no? If he likes it, by all means, what could be the harm? I got tired of the 'What do you wanna do? I dunno, what do you wanna do?' thing a long time ago. If I ask someone out, I'll have somthing in mind before I even call. And most times I won't say what it is, I'll just say 'dress nice' or 'wear boots and shorts' or 'bring a coat', and so on. Maybe he's got somthing romantic in mind...

That's not creepy. He thinks you're hot. What's wrong with that?

It could be creepy if he always tells you what to wear, or tells you to wear something odd But for now, I wouldn't think it's a big deal.

Not a bad sign at all, at least this guy knows what he wants and asks for it. I personally think its a great sign...At least the man communicates!

Nah! Wear the leather! Men are very visual so accommodate him.
Now if he wants you to tie him up and spank him hard I would rethink the relationship...unless you're into it too.
