Would you still wish for his happiness?

When I found out that my son's dad was gay, I wished him anything but well. Our son was three months old and I had BAD post partum depression. But if you want to be the better person, then wish him well. Being gay isn't a disease or a chemical imbalance. There is nothing wrong with it. If he loves you now, he will always love you if for no other reason than you supported him through a difficult time. Go with your heart. You will feel better in the end.

Hopefully, you werent sexually involved with this man,and if you were, I would be running to get tested. I also had this happen several years ago,and I didnt wish him happiness.Something like this is degrading and humiliating. If a man if having feelings like that and strong enough to come out and tell you,chances are hes felt this way a long time and has been deceitful.After this happened to me,even though I didnt do it, I wanted each guy I dated to fill out a resume. I would never wish someone happiness that deliberately lied to me,especially over a period of time,and something that serious.

Of course I would wish for his happiness. Some things are better to know than to not know. Look at it this way, you could have grown up and got married then he could have cheated on you with a guy and you could have found out that way. Be happy for him, it takes a lot of courage to come out of the closet.

Yes- it isn't a CHOICE to be gay or not. I don't know how old u are, but I suppose realizing that --YOU(not talking about you-the writer )--are gay takes times to come to grips with it.
(Not talking about GRIPPING-any personal object)
You could say something like if you still would like to talk sometime, that would be great.

i would be kind of mad because he didnt tell me but i would understand in the end. If he is that then i wouldn't be able to fight it. And yes i would wish him happiness.
