Nothing in my actual religion bugs me but as a muslim I really do not like some of the older traditions created by man. Like the treating of women and so forth. I have read the Noble Quran and I see that we have to treat all women with respect and dignity.

I was raised Catholic and feel most of my belief system stems from it. I've found it useful throughout my life but the whole confession/guilt thing is somewhat irritating. I've discovered that often times guilt can morph into some rather unfriendly behaviors. It can have very negative effects on a person that otherwise is a good fellow human being. Guilt is not just a Catholic thing but that's what I know.

That I have to do the right thing all the time. Sometimes when someone at the store or somewhere else makes me mad, I want to throw a can of peas at them or something, but I smile and obey God ... and love them (insert exasperated sigh here).
I know it's the right thing to do and I know I'll gain for it, both in this life and the next, but I'm such a good aim, I just know I could hit them square in the back of the head! lol

I go to what ever Church I feel like dropping in on, that God wants me to go to, perhaps for a reason, I always keep an open mind.
I have no problem finding God:)
I Just feel that I can do more, God help me do more, more bigger things, I want to help, I want to please God. Why does God hold me back- I must not be ready enough in his eyes. I feel at times unlimited when I feel he is there for me, standing by my side.

I am a Humanist and believe in gooding good for its own intrinstic value & following my own moral compass consisting of my ethics and conscience.
This holds no false reward of an everlasting afterlife. That would be a pleasant thought, but one that I can never fool myself into accepting.

Well, if I could take anything out of christianity, I would have to agree with C.S. Lewis and say that I would most like to get rid of the doctrine of Hell, but since it is clearly written in the Scriptures, I realize that it is a real place, and I must warn people of the dangers of Hell.

Hmmm... Complaints about Buddhism... If anything it is probably the fat Buddha statues, these make people think Buddha was fat when he really was not, and then they make childish comments without realizing how foolish they look. Then I have to correct this assumption and sometimes people lash out at me. Alot of unnecesary work, if you ask me...

spell ingredients are not expensive, it is time consuming to go out and find them. every plant or herb has a counterpart that grows somewhere else so the expensive ingredients, that is only if you lack the knowledge and a day of your precious time to go find them.

I don't like morning church services. I'd rather go in the evening. I also don't like the way Evangelicals learn this special vocabulary to talk about their faith, as if to be authentic to others. I call it "Christianese."

I don't like what the scripture talks about hell. I believe it's real. But I wish it wasn't.
I don't even see why the ones who go to hell have anymore reason to exist. Maybe God will destroy hell all together one day. That would be the merciful thing to do.
