I haven't thought a lot philosophically about hate.

A quick thought that a lot of hate is based on ignorance;and a lot is based on something hateful that someone has done to someone else.

I am 64. This may sound really nasty, but there are a few people over those years whose treatment of myself and others was so nasty and vicious, that when they died, I WAS GLAD!!!

There are two people on my personal list, that if I knew for certain I would die exactly thirty days from now, I would wait until the last afternoon and place a 45 ACP bullet in their heads.

Of course, this is all hot air, because there could not be any way to be sure I would die in exactly 30 days. Plus I moved across the country to get away from that sort of people.

I have no problem with what I call honest hatred, such as I described where one human being deliberately and malicously works hard at making other humans miserable and her victims hate her.

I will say one should have that honest hatred as a form of entertainment, rather than bitterness in your life. People that vicious are not worth really messing up your life. But, you can derive great enjoyment from their horrid deaths of pancreatic cancer -- if you are really lucky. Or, you can contemplate with pleasure and glee what sorts of deaths or torture you would inflict if you could. That is ever so much fun!

Lack of life experience in older adults, lack of compassionate parents;selfish parents.if you do not teach your children, love of all things, hate fills the cracks, hate is lack of understanding.as a man of 44 the only way to overcome any hatred is practice, when i dislike or start to hate i ask myself how stupid i am for assuming anything about him, her, this,or,that.and real men and good men must be wise, and lead.we are the fathers of this world,by GOD. bye bye

Anger that turn into frustration became hatred with self lack of knowledge for their own suvival with communication problems being overlook with misinterpretation and miscommunication with communication failures and communication break-down in getting the things that you want out of life on planet earth.
Similar to the blind blindly searching for something but could'nt find it on planet earth.
So what they should do is to upgrade instead of discriminate themselves on planet earth.

Envy, prejudice, or for something a person or someone close to them did. Then there is no particular reason. Some people just pick up a bad vibe from someone. That's all I can think of.....

When people are mistreated, for no good reason, over a long period of time anger turns to hate.
