Do you really think that humankind has progressed in the last 300 years? We have EVOLVED into machines of destruction and have devastated almost all other forms of life on this planet. For me, even though there are still so many stunning places on Earth, this planet is at it's most beautiful when I see it in photos taken from outer space, the death and destruction is not visible YET.
How can this sort of 'evolution' be considered spiritual??

Evolution is part of a science. So it only deals with science. Evolution basically doesn't touch on religion in any way, since they aren't formed from science. Evolution doesn't say either way about religion or spirituality.

evolution- the progression of life. simple as that. why cant the progression of life be spiritual? there are christians that believe in evolution. its kind of weird but they are out there. just like there are christians that are for gay marriage, like yours truly. why not? homosexuality is a "sin," but we all sin so what makes gay ppl different?

Jains believe exactly that.

They believe that life is a spiritual progression and also believe that there is no Supreme Being, or "God."

evolution starts off with the "big bang"...which would discount the fact that God created everything. Evolution is possible once God created us...but it is with the devine touch that we do and through faith

Your question, while strangely worded, makes a point.
