Dogs often snack on grass given the opportunity and it doesn't mean they are sick. Some of their ancestors were and still are omnivores and opportunists. Around here, if you plant watermellons, it is likely you will lose some of them to the coyotes, they love them and will eat them any chance they get. Back to your dog, sometimes when he eats grass, a flat wet blade of grass (which is hard to chew up thoroughly with canine teeth) can get stuck in the back of his throat. Dogs, like you and I, have a gag reflex and that grass stuck in the back of his throat can quite often trigger it. I bet if you think about it, your dog probably wasn't acting sick when he ate the grass, if dogs are sick they act sick just like we do. I never have seen my dogs eat grass when it appeared they were less than 100%. Don't worry about him eating grass, it's when he starts smoking grass, that's when you have a problem!

There are also some grasses dogs find that tastes good - I know, it sounds goofy, but I have a patch in my yard all the neighborhood dogs munch on. We also have it out where I train my dogs. My friends female goes to all sorts of contortions to get to this grass because she enjoys it so much.

Dogs will eat grass when their stomach feels bad. It induces vomiting and is normal for dogs to do that. However, if it is constant to the point that food is not being digested (dog being starved due to throwing up), you need to get him to a vet immediately.

She won't get sick. Lots of dogs eat grass and throw it up. It's gross but harmless.

Dogs eat grass when their tummys are not feeling well. It helps them digest food. Don't worry he/she will be ok. If he/she doesn't feel better within a day him/her to the vet.

no, it does not mean that your dog is sick.
your dog is just eating grass because their stomach feels unconfortable, so it wants to barf out what it just ate.
its a common dog thing to do.

I'm pretty sure your dog doesn't have a hair ball, but she may have some intestinal problem. I'd just take her in to the vet or call the vet and ask what he/she recommends.
