Oh heck yeah you can. I just came back from a cruise and the couple who ate dinner with us did. He packed his own bag and she packed hers. You have to put it in your luggage. She wrapped hers in bubble wrap and put it in the big zip lock bags. He on the other hand just put his in his luggage. She got hammered while he was doing laundry because 2 of his bottles of rum broke all over his clothes. True story
No Di, it isn't all the booze you can drink for free. The booze is one of the things that are not free and they charge an arm and a leg for a drink. Average on my last cruise a couple of weeks ago was $7.00 per drink.

We always take wine and champagne in our carry-on with no problem. I've seen some other people take coolers or large boxes filled with beer or other alcohol and have them picked up by the porter with the rest of their luggage. I also know that some people pack the alcohol directly in their luggage as well. The only thing I've heard of being taken away is hard liquor in its regular bottles. People put hard liquor in water bottles or other containers all of the time. Each cruise line has a different policy by the way. Check with the cruise line to see what is allowed first and then you can figure the best way to take the alcohol with you. Bottom line is: People take alcohol of all kinds on cruise ships all of the time.

I'm the best sneaker in the world but have never even thought about it on a cruise. When I buy a cruise package it includes all food and drinks. If you're going on a "no frills" cruise just put it in your carry ons. What are they going to do, "Shoot You"? Worst case scenario is you find some schmuck to buy you drinks.

I always bring a few bottles of wine when I go on a cruise and they don't care. You can also purchase wine when you go into port. They will charge a corkage fee if you bring the bottle into the dining room.

Why would you? Last cruise I was on they had more alcohol than you could drink. You may want to rethink this. Have Fun on your cruise.

I brought lots on, my bags were not checked. Hairspray bottle, mouthwash bottles, it works. I brought several bottles of wine in the bottle they came in.

Yes...water bottles, saline solution bottles...get creative.
Using mouthwash bottles, unless rinsed really well, make the liquor taste funky.

If you need that much alcohol on your cruise, maybe you should check on spending time at a rehab instead. Your insurance will cover the rehab!
