i have this problem too.
my hair is the same lenght. anyways i suggest you use a good volumizing shampoo (yellow sunsilk, worrkss well)&conditioner.
however i dont use shampoo everyday, it`s bad for ur hair..
after taking a shower put sum volumizing creme, (loreal is good)
and blow dry your hair with your head down. when it`s half dry take a round brush and brush your hair in this will make sure your hair doesnt flip out and then put some mousse just to be sure! i do this in a daily basis and it seems to work. and it also help to put a straightnening gel, i use the very sexy form victoria secret. or if your in a rush straighten it with a flat iron!!!
your not an old auntie, just work wit your hair a lil bit. it wud look great :]

Well wash it everyday and brush at least 4 times a day fora while and if you don't like it curly that use a hair straightener. I recomend Paitene Pro-v or however you spell it. It works really well.

Looks fine to me. If you don't feel good, apply some aloe vera gel. It will nourish your hair and make it more softer and manageable.
