Depends. Male or female? you'll have to wait until the right age, and of course I assume you've taken all the medical precautions such as checking for dog sickness and such...

If you don't know the answer, you don't know enough to breed yet. Do some reading on the Internet and get books from your local book store. Breeding isn't something to be entered into lightly. You take responsibility for the lives of each one of those puppies for the next 15 years. It's not just having the pups, selling them, and forgetting about it. You as the breeder hold all the answers for someone who doesn't know and will need to be ready with them. I'm just getting started showing, and I don't plan to breed for several years till I can learn everything. I do know how long it takes for a breeding though. The answer is it depends. Devote at least an hour in case of a tie, however it can be as short as a few moments. Please don't just breed any dog either. If the dogs aren't a splendid specimen of the breed then they should be spayed and neutered. Don't mix breed as there are over 8 million dogs killed each year for lack of homes. That's 8,000,000 lives snuffed out each and every year right here in the United States. We don't even know how many are being killed each year overseas. That is a sickening figure and it's because everybody is deciding to breed their sub-standard (breed wise)animals.

I agree with the person above, if you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't have been breeding in the first place. There are so many dogs who need homes being put down in shelters. Thats why when someone asks a question about finding a dog I always point them to www.petfinder.org they can look at local shelters and see what kind of dogs they have in there.

Why in the name of all things holy are you trying to breed your dog when there are tens of thousands of dogs out there that need homes? When thousands of those dogs are going to DIE lonely in a shelter? So you can make some money? What if this whole plan of your backfires and you end up with ten puppies? What if they all end up stillborn and you have a thousand dollar vet bill and no puppies to sell. Are you truly thinking this through? Is your dog even worth breeding? Are you even qualified to breed dogs? Or are you going to pass on some backyard genetics that you will sell to people which they will find out ten years later that all your puppies are positive carriers for some genetic disease. Breeding is for the betterment of the breed, not to line your pocket. If you want puppies, go to a shelter and get a fricking puppy and spay your dog. Your ***** will thank you for saving her the trouble.

I don't mean to sound rude, but if you have to ask this question, are you sure you're ready to be a dog breeder? A litter of pups is going to be expensive, and you need to know a fair amount about bloodlines and genetics in order to produce top-quality animals.
It sounds like you might want to do a lot more homework about the breed you're planning to raise before you do anything else. There are already too many pups that need homes without adding to their numbers.
