~*~Actually, in our area (Kansas) it is either Pop, Soda, or Coke.

Three of my sons who were raised in Kansas, but have lived in Oklahoma for 5 to 15 years (depends on which son) also calls the beverage a Sode (no "a" on the end. It used to sound strange, but unique to me, but I'm used to it now.

Pop- Chicago My cousin lived in New Mexico for awhile and she came back calling it soda.

Depends on where you live. I grew up on the East Coast and I say soda. I have friends in the Mid West and they say pop.

Pop....in Michigan. I visited my cousin in Texas and she kept asking me if I wanted a Coke. Every time she brought me a different kind of pop like Sprite or something. I was really confused.

We call it Soda or Coke-a...Living in Belgium, I'm from US and bf is from India :-D
