If I try preventing banana from browing by using either lemon juice or another abscorcbic acid, about how long does the banana last?

It usually lasts me a few days, but I don't use lemon juice. I use the syrup from a canned fruit like mandarin oranges or pineapple chunks. Pineapple seems to work the best, and even keeps cut apple from browning....

Not sure it this might help, cut the banana into the size pieces you wish and then place on tray to freeze with wax paper, then place in a bag when frozen. Pop them out shorty before your ready to use. I believe that the banana cannot be overly ripened b 4 freezing.
