in my house we do that--or we attempted to. i got an diamond and my man got a plain ol' band with "forever [my name]" engraved in it; however, he refuses to wear it because "it's uncomfortable." hopefully your fiance is a little more dedicated to the ring :)

anglo-Indian as in India Indian, or Native American Indian?

I'm Cherokee, and we don't have a "requirement" for the engagement rings...IF you're speaking of Native American "Indian".

Calling someone 'egocentric' and a jerk for spending plenty and getting you a large rock? magnificent. If no longer a troll question, i imagine you honestly ruin it off and go back the ring. he will locate a destiny spouse who matches the ring better effective. lol.

well ya we exchange rings on a fixed engagement date. it doesnt have to be a solitare just a diamond mens ring
