Surprise... THEY DO smoke... and don't believe them if they say they dont. There is NOTHING else that smells like cigarette smoke!

I know what you mean. They don't have to smoke. A persons breath can smell like cigarettes from drinking coffee and a combination of what they eat. It can also be a combination of a sinus condition. Sometimes my mom's breath is this way because she drinks coffee and has a thyroid condition. I work with a guy who doesn't smoke at all but, his breath smells like it does. He's diabetic. Or, this person could actually smoke.

For a persons breath to smell like cigarettes, they are smoking. Or again is it from wrong thinking.? Apparently when a person is nice and says nice things to your face, they are actually thinking awful things about you and everything else. This can be the cause of bad breath.

cigarettes, cigars. If people don't smoke, there is no way their breath would smell like cigarettes.

bad hygeine can be the big one. Also bad teeth can be another. Believe it or not - constipation can be one! If you can't flush the waste out of your body in a timely fashion - it gets backed up and your body will start sweating and smelling horrible.
If the person baths and brushes their teeth and seems to be in good health and their breath is still horrible, I would take them to get a check up to ensure nothing else is wrong with them. Breath shouldn't be THAT bad!
