No, just drugs to help it not be as bad.
Once you get herpes, you have it forever. Protect yourself.

Herpes can be caused by wrong thinking. Herpes can show its ugly side when a person has sex with more than one partner. If your friend thinks or has been brought up to think that having sex with one person one day and another partner the next, and believes this to be wrong, herpes can present itself. There is no cure for herpes. Medications only subdue the symptoms, but you can still transmit herpes while on the medication.

There are a lot of medicines to treat herpes but no cure, your friend should see her/his doctor, beyond that safe sex or abstinence are the only ways to prevent the spread of it.
