My friend has his own laptop and he uses it everyday. He got grounded because his father found out about some messages he sent on MySpace and just information that he wasn't telling his dad. I guess his father installed a trojan or some other kind of program on his computer that allows him to see everything he does, as his friend I'm trying to find out what you can do... is there a certain way you can find it... a program or something you can do without harming the computer, he could care less about having his father find out... any ideas or thoughts would be much appreciated!

If he has a trojan, most decent virus scanners will find and deal with it. If its software, try checking the add/remove programs list for anything you're not sure about.

If you have Windows you need to download Cygwin. It is a control center for your computer, it will do anything. You can delete anything from there. I don't know how you would go about deleting something like that though.
