I am studying Islam now because I will be marrying a Muslim man in November. I am shocked at how mislead so many people are. Not all Muslim countries are the same, because there is a huge difference between religion and culture. Much of what people are unhappy with is actually CULTURE, not Islam itself. As a woman, I have no fear of how I will be treated by a Muslim man. I already know I will be loved and treated very well. I am actually moving to an Islamic country so my future husband can practice his religion freely and without prejudice. I may eventually convert, because our future children will need to be raised as Muslims and I want us all to believe and practice the same thing.
For me Islam is very logical, unlike the Bible, and the Trinity. I have always had my own beliefs and now I am realizing that they are very similar to what Muslims believe. It's nice to finally feel like I found where I belong.

No, but the site below offers the wonderful testimonies of those former Muslims who have came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal and only Savior.

I'm from Iraq and have been Christian my whole life and my anscestors have been before Islam came to Iraq. I was heavily interested in learning about Islam so as to see why it took over the middle east. The more I learned the more I was displeased with it. I don't think it is an evolution over Christianity. I think the closest religion to the teachings of Christ is Buddhism yet I remain a Christian and respect all religions yet feel they should be interpreted for modern times. It's good to learn about all religions yet understand that they are beliefs and not facts because you can't prove or doubt the Existance of God or gods. You just believe. I believe in the message of Christ because it was peaceful and loving.
