Need help to show one of my best friends that we can be more than friends. PLEASE ANSWER!?
So this girl that I have been friends my whole life, she is one of my best friends, I've wanted to be more than friends for a really long time, no one knew that i did besides me, so i tried to ask her to homecoming, but she said she couldn't but didn't give me an explaination, this was yesterday, so now that she said that, my other friend, who is a girl, kind of explained why she said no, she likes someone else and wants to go to homecoming with them, i'm cool about that, but it tore me up inside, and she said that she said she just wanted to be friends,, that night i talked to her and asked if we were still cool and she said definately, but she was like the only girl i had real feelings for. How can i show her that we can be more than friends? Please answer!

be there for her and one day she might see you as more then just a friend sometimes it takes time for a female to see what they really want i didn't rrealize i liked my best guy friend until he started seeing someone and then it hit me so just try to hang in there

Let me give you some real help. Slowly let the fish come for the bait. give her a compliment but don't be stupid make sure its something new. shoes and jewelery are the best things to compliment. If you have a class with her hold the door for her once or twice wait a day or 2 in between,don't do it to often or it is anoying. find out if she goes for the romantic type/ mystery guy.if so then have some fun slip a note in her backpack, locker, or notebook... get a friend to write it so she doesn't recognize the handwriting. date the note every day you put one in her stuff, and make it short and sweet every time...say a compliment,make her think..."I saw you in the hallway today..."(it will make her wonder who you are,if you like to write my it poetic or a sentence from a song you like/her favorite song. Give her a clue every day for about 2 weeks,have fun with it but do not get caught at first by her or her friends, Then pop the question one more time..."want to meet me or go to homecoming with me?" but do not put a name on the note yet wait till the next day to put your name on the note or were to meet.

growing pains, get allot of them and analyze all the data and then submit feeling don't get hurt too soon in life it tends to slow u up, and confuse you with guilty trips and that alone can be a stigmatization problem that has it effects on other relationships so be a good sport and see what you like in each other make the best of that and you"ll be happy that you see how you are her friend will strengthen you ability to see how to make more friends, don't get burned by this you got millions of opportunities out there.

DUDE...man...dont do it...try to get over her as soon as possible...she said you guys were cool....but I dont think YOU are....because its more than likely she is never going to see you as anything more than a friend...its really hard to jump from the friend ladder to the guy ladder...her friend that told you that she likes someone else seems like she cares about you...go for her....

Did you ever stop to think that maybe she's afraid of ruining a great friendship if it doesn't work out. I know you really like her but don't go making things all weird or you'll end up scaring her away competely.

DUH!!! You need to LISTEN to what she is telling you, pal. She ONLY wants to be a friend of yours and not anything more. Back off. If you cannot respect that, then don't even try to be her friend. She has her eye on someone else and you are setting yourself up. Stop acting Stupid!
