So this girl that I have been friends my whole life, she is one of my best friends, I've wanted to be more than friends for a really long time, no one knew that i did besides me, so i tried to ask her to homecoming, but she said she couldn't but didn't give me an explaination, this was yesterday, so now that she said that, my other friend, who is a girl, kind of explained why she said no, she likes someone else and wants to go to homecoming with them, i'm cool about that, but it tore me up inside, and she said that she said she just wanted to be friends,, that night i talked to her and asked if we were still cool and she said definately, but she was like the only girl i had real feelings for. How can i show her that we can be more than friends? Please answer!

You can't. Women aren't stupid, nor are they very good at hiding their feelings. If they are interested in you romantically, THEY WILL SHOW IT. If a woman isn't naturally receptive to you as a mate, it's doubtful she can be "convinced." There are always exceptions, but why waste time agonizing? You're still a kid. There are lots of fish in the sea. There's a well known song about unrequited love... Everybody Plays the Fool. Don't be a fool.

You need to give her hints and lead her the way to your heart. I know you can think of some things that girls would like. Anything with roses or candy or chocolate would make her go bananas or flowers(anykind). i think she really said no to homecoming cuz she was overwhelmed with you asking her and is probably afraid to take the next step. good luck hun!

i hate to say it, but as much as u feelings for her, she clearly does not have feelings (at the moment) for you. so the best thing is to not say anything, because if u do she WILL be thinking about it, and it may give her stress she doesnt need, she might even feel guilty, or even stress your relationship. dont show her anything but friendship right now. if she comes around, im sure she'll let u know. stay strong ;)

once a girl labels you as jsut a friend its VERY dificult to change that esp if she likes someone else...but if you insist on trying then just man up and make some sure shot confident moves on her, is she still wants to be friends then just accept it

You can't force the situation. If it's meant to be, it will happen with time...and although this sounds cliche and probably not what you want to hear....things happen for a reason. If it happens it happens.

well maybe you should tell her how you feel!!
If noone knows but you how you feel about her then she will never know and the best way for her to know is by you letting her know...tell her how you feel about her..you never know maybe she likes you too and she dont know how to tell you ..or maybe she thinks you wont like her like that..just tell her like now !!!
