There are no common ancestors of anything except in the evolution WITHIN the species. For example ,the evolution within the dog family to get other breeds and thick and thin coats etc.But there are NO evolving into another species.Like there are Fish and Monkeys,no "Funkeys" ya dig?

Good question but to go one step further--our museums are full of fossils and bones of many extinct prehistoric animals. If evolution occurred, why is there not at least one fossil of an ancestor that was after the ape but before the human.?There's not any.

Because nothing remains the same.
However you can find various species which are physically similar to the common ancestor of apes and humans.

Rod C... would you call a dog and a wolf the same species? Cause, um... dogs came from the domestication of wolves... which would be, um... yeah... evolution of one species into another... Hmm...

And... why did the process stop?
Shouldn't we still see the evidence someplace, in someone?
