I'm a freshman in HS and the guy i like is a sophmore. Ok we are really close friends and hes really sweet and is constantly making me laugh. I like him a lot and I'm pretty sure he likes me to. But the problem is that in the past he has been screwed over by girls and because of that is kinda scared of a real relashionship again. Like one time his ex-gf moved 2 Georgia and he wuz in luv with her and they had been datin for like 9 months. This summer i'm supposed 2 move to ATL,georgia and i dont want 2 break his heart but i also dont want my heart broken. Hes also kinda shy and im outgoin but we balance each other out. i really am very confused and dont know what to do

aww that is so sweet. I'm a freshman too in HS. Okay, I think you should definitely go for it. Even if you do move, and if you too eventually do lose touch, he will always, always remember you because you two were so close and all. You two will be such a cute couple.

if you are sure u are moving to georgia then don't start something because you may get too deep in and then u won't really have anywhere to go. at least if you move you can keep in touch. the fact that he's a sophmore doesn't matter.

Too young to be in a real relationship. Just try some casual dating, nothing heavy. No one gets hurt...

I would tell him that you are moving.I wouldn't lose touch with him.call each other, and write each other, and one day if both of you are meant to be.Both will find away to be together as friends,or more then.Just be honest and open with him,and tell him your true feelings

If he's a good friend of yours just be honest with him. I wouldn't jump into anything if I knew I was about to leave though.

you know the thing to do i think is to tell him this: "dont freak out and you dont have to say yes to my question i like you and if you dont like me the same way then can we still be friends" if he says no dont be upset just look around and you'l find someone :-)

save yourself from the pain...dont go out with him...you should start backing away slowly...its going to suck when you leave...you should tell him how you feel after you move....then maybe....personally....i wouldnt care about the future and do what makes me feel happy now...but...good luck
