I would think that he would think it was a date if it is just the two of you. I think it's great that you asked him out. Just talk to him and ask him if he thinks it is a date then you will know for sure. All you can do is ask and he should tell you. Good Luck!

well if its not with a group this time then he probably thinks it is a date. It might be a little weird for him that the girl asked him to dinner, but if he says yes, then take that as he may be interested.
Hope I helped! Good Luck!

To me, I would say it is a date. There is no one else there but
you -n- him. You both get all the attention you deserve. But if
he doesn't see you in that way, well then his mind is just hanging out. And if he has a thing for you, then look out, you get all of him. Just keep the conversation going so the evening won't get boring. Listen to everything he has to tell you. Go have FUN!!

how did you happen to think that asking a guy's out is just ok??? hey girl wake up! anyways, we're on a new era right? but i think asking for a date should be dealt with the man not with the woman.. the man may have a different interpretation if the woman do it first right... may something different but not the asking thing...

Who knows? The only way is to make sure you treat him as if it were a date, thus it would become a date. Maybe for now, he's just unsure... so show him how you feel.

You've gone about it wrong, and have apparenlty bought into the liberal notion that it's "okay" to ask a man out. You should have done what you could as a woman do get him interested and left this move up to him.

I think he thinks that if you're asking him out, it's hanging out, but if HE asks you out, it's a date. Guys haven't evolved to the point where they really take women seriously. They say they want us to ask them out, but what they mean is, they want Angelina Jolie to ask them out...not normal every day women. Hope it works out all right for you any way.
