I've always wanted to say this - school is a temporary part of a much longer life. If someone's being mean to you, its probably because something in their life is not working for them. If you are in physical danger, top priority is to get moved into another class. If we are talking only of daily unpleasantry, your best response may be either completely ignoring her if you sense this is a passing thing and would like to avoid a little drama. If you think this is a problem that wont go away, the best thing to do is to find an opportunity to speak with her privately, and then tell her off. If you tell her off in front of everyone, you may cause her to try and save face by escalating the situation. Its better to handle this on your own with her face to face. You should be firm and direct, and maybe even practice with a friend first. Good Luck- we've all had these moments and their what really tests your metal. It will make a good story for your kids some day!

You dont say how she is being mean? If you can sit well away from this girl. As much as kids hate getting adults involved in conflict, I would talk to someone in regard to this. Either a welfare officer at the school or your teacher or even your parents. Something can be done without involving you being dobbed in for telling on the girl. The adults can then approach this girl stating they have witnessed her behaviour and she should start behaving in a better manner.

well in all honesty so people are just rude just because, the most you could do is kill her.... with kindness and try to ignore her rude remarks and disrespectful behavior that is what i would do. Now if that doesnt work involve the authority such as your parents, teachers, principal etc. you will not be consider a punk but more so of an intelligent person for doing the right thing and being the bigger person....

She will always go for your weakness....dont let her see that it bothers you. Snicker at her when she says something, but keep your backfires to a minimum. she will wonder whats so funny. let her know (even if its not true) that she has a big black thing in her teeth. she will be embarrassed to say the least. then inform her that she smells of tuna, and ask her if shes applied for food stamps. point out strategic locations on a map where she can shower properly or at least get a few dollars for correct hygiene utensils. tell her firmly, but dont make a scene. make sure that a few other people hear. what?! i'm vengeful.

When I was in kindergarten, I had the same problem. My mother told me to kiss her. She never bothered me again. I don't know how old you are, but a kiss on the cheek is all it takes. It may result in you losing your recess, but you'll find that it's well worth it.

itd be easier to answer if u were more specific on how she was "mean" to u....but some solutions are to just ignore her, stick with ur group of friends, don't take it personally and if it doesn't stop then just ***** slap her till ur hearts content...
