There's a girl at work that I really like, but I haven't been very nice to her and yet she still talks to me and is always asking me to go with her to lunch or for walks on our breaks. I don't understand because I try to avoid her as much as possible because I don't wanna get involved with someone at work. Given the fact that I have been ignoring her recently I expected her to stop talking to me. Nonetheless she still tries to talk to me and still wants to go to lunch and for walks. I broke down yesterday and went for a walk with her and really enjoyed our time together. What the hell should I do? I like her alot but I'm not sure if she likes me the same way. I don't want to ruin our work relationship...I appreciate any advise.

Before giving any suggestion i read ur file trying to get an idea what could i say and how is ur type. According to ur previous and very direct answers u don't look like the kind of person who needs any advice on this. Any ways, having a crush with someone at work is not good deal, but if u really like her that much and viceversa, what are you waiting for ?. our points of view ?, follow ur insticts, they seem to be very aware!. Don't worry about what will happen if these relationship doesn't work?. Have the relationship first and then you will find out next step (if it works or not). If she likes you back in the same way ?. Only you can answer that question, just see what you need to see... not what you would like to see....

You are to old to actually be behaving this way ans you know it. You do!! Life is to short to "act" one way because you feel another. If you feel like your being a jerk then you are being a jerk. I know you may being doing this to actually avoid your own hurt and risk but, this behavior makes you feel bad anyway and it makes her feel bad i am sure too. Be who you have always been with her and don't forget how precious life is and taking risks is breathing life. You can't go through life with out taking risks...not if you want to have a rich, meaningful life. Dull and safe doesn't leave you happy at the end of the day when you put your head on the pillow and all your left with is YOU and your thoughts. Live today. Be nice to her...be you, tell her how you feel and even if she doesn't feel the same way back..she CERTAINLY cares for you. A precious friend is far and few. who knows maybe she just may feel the same way back but, at leas you will have been true to yourself for trying and the whole work thing?? Just an excuse..if she is special to you..you have to overlook the fact that she works with you. I know it's risky but, I already gave you my thoughts on that.

Apologize to her for acting like a jerk. Then tell her the truth- you are worried about a work-place involvement.

You should not cross the line mixing business and pleasure. If the relationship does not work out it will be really hard to work with each other.

it shouldnt be to hard to find out if she likes you... just keep teasing her with your attention and keep a "calm and nonchalant attitude" when you around her act like you 'want' her but dont 'need' her and stay unpredictable...trust me youll findo ut how attracted she is to you
