If these illegals knew that every police officer would arrest them for being here illegally they would start staying in their own countries.
In my opinion, the problem with "ILLEGAL" Aliens, people who are here in this country in direct disobedience of our laws, is that their law breaking doesn't stop, and yet they think they are better than U.S. Citizens and should not be prosecuted for their law breaking.

Case in point: The "Illegal Aliens" falsify tax documents, and other government paperwork.

If I do that, the IRS fines me, charges me exhorbitant interest and fee's and will throw me in jail. They seize houses, business's and other assets to satisfy tax judgements against U.S. Citizens.

The Illegal Aliens get a pass on this.

I falsify a drivers license, fail to provide insurance, or drive unlicensed, and I find myself in jail, being fined, and in some cases, having my vehicle impounded and even sold at Sherrifs Auction.

The Illegal Aliens get a pass on this as well.

I find myself in court, facing Federal, State and/or Local charges of disobeying the law, I have to pay an attorney $200-$300 per hour.

The Illegal Aliens get a pass on this as well, unless of course the ACLU gets their paws in the middle of it. And by the way, while I'm blasting the ACLU, keep in mind that they managed to wangle a law that requires the Federal Government to pay all of their legal fee's for the lawsuits they file. In other words, they're using our own money against us in order to undermine American Civil Liberties by promoting Illegal Alien Civil Liberties.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is wrong.

The entire way we deal with illegal aliens is WRONG.

Tell this to your local politician, they are the ones that create the laws. What do you expect people here to do? Rant and rave while politicians continue to do what is pissing you off so much?

Great ranting btw but you need to understand that this is an Answer service, not some pro this or anti that message board. While many people may agree ( or disagree) what possible impact do you think it will make here?

No I don't think they would be quite so eager to come into the USA if they knew without a doubt that they would be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
If the people that hire them knew that they could lose their business license and also be fined and even shut down ,they would stop hiring illegals and hire and pay a living wage to legal Americans.Even if you use the argument of things becoming higher priced,it would be countered by the higher wages. Giving the American worker more buying power,so it would equal out.The high cost of cheap labor is a reality. Its reflected in the cost of the services the illegal uses but does not pay for.The money that the illegals put into the US economy is negligible compared to what it cost our city's and states.
Even if a few do have a TIN# what they pay cant make up for the millions of other illegals that are paid cash, and thus do not pay social security,Workman's comp etc.Sales tax that they pay on goods is again a small amount compared to their cost to this country.
The cost of schooling ,medical care, entitlement programs
incarceration, etc are almost to a catastrophic level.
Its time to make it difficult if not impossible for the illegal from any where to enter into this country unabated.its past time to secure our borders.

The term illegal alien is correct it is used in government documents so it is the correct word if one chooses to use.It doesn't matter to me if an illegal is good or bad ,he/she/they are in this country illegally ,that's the bottom line.Illegal means Illegal

You sound mighty mad. Remember there is 2 sides to every story. Yes there are bad illegals but then there are good ones too. If the immigration system was corrected we would not have this problem. The way things are being handled has encouraged the people to come to the US illegally. There is a thing called the Mordeda ( the Wealthy Mexican...criminals) and the US has been in their pockets for many years. If you had any involvement with Border cities and seen what I have seen, you would see how our government has exploited the poor in that country and other countries. We need to hold our government accountable. Remember the Contras and Regan??

Yes, most of them would stay. And you know why they would stay? Because life in America, even under the daily threat of arrest and punishment for being here illegally, is better than where they came from. Illegal aliens aren't coming here just to piss you off. Most illegal aliens are just trying to find a better way of life for their families because they have next to nothing. Perhaps we should ask ourselves, if we were born with nothing on the other side of the border, would we be any different?

So why do you just blame illegals? Why not this govt who is the one who 'deals' with illegals and makes the laws? BTW, your also partly to blame, you voted for these politicians, no? A country is only as good as its citizens....So place the blame where it belongs, YOU!

You are correct on all issues. However, we do not have enough officers or time to deal with just "illegal" aliens. The police are already overwhelmed in every city, county, and state trying to just keep up with calls for service. All calls must be prioritized and "illegal" aliens are way down the list.......unless they are committing a crime against a person/property (granted, they are basically stealing from us all on a daily basis, medical, housing, & education costs just to name a few). The "illegal" aliens are in fact costing us (USA) "billions" of dollars a year.

I bet, for awhile, they'll risk trying to get to America and be arrested, but if we really were to crack down on them and arrest them and hold them for a serious fine, then they would stop coming over here illegally. In my opinion, if your going to come to america you need to do it the right way. You need to fill out the papers and such, and not think that running to America is going to get you out of whatever illegal **** you've been doing down in your country. We might be the 'Land of the Free' but that doesn't mean you can come over here illegally, steal our identities, and jobs, and such, and think they're all the sudden better to this. I look DOWN on them, not UP to them. They should know that. They're not TRUE americans, and they shouldn't be treated as so.

First of all I think your use of the word "illegal alien" is wrong because just because they are illegal doesn't mean that they should be called that.THEY CAME FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY NOT PLANET!!! They would indeed stay because with out peaple coming to live in different countries there would be no more dating different races and we would have no culture to live by other than our own.Can you imagine that? The world would be sooo BORING

It is a violation of federal law for law enforcement to ascertain the immigration status of people that they arrest, therefore, they wouldn't know who to give these 'passes' to, would they?

Illegals are deported every day for breaking the law. The problem is that no one is looking for them.

You can thank the Party-In-Power for the last decade for these laws.

Everything you say a 100% correct, and they know they can get caught, but it still stay worth the risk, because most of them where they come from have nothing there and they live in poverty, so any risk is worth the improvement. Some actual wish the cops catch them then they get good free food and accommodation.
