Next time you pass a field , tell me who is picking the fruit/vegetables. Next time someone comes to cut your lawn and trim you bushes.....count how many are asians.
It's not about work ethics, obviously since they are here illegally. It's about who is willing to do menial jobs.

Well, as I said before ... some work hard, some are lazy ... but most I have seen have been downright incompetent in their jobs ... I've seen houses remodeled with the help of illegal workers ... what a mess they made! I've seen landscapers who left the site worse than it was before they started, I have seen them fix cars that had to be refixed by people who knew what they were doing ... some of them may work hard, but if they don't know what they're doing, this cheap labor can end up being very costly ....

Because I have seen them. I have had three friends that had hispanic maids. I have never seen any maid do what those three did. They washed all the clothes, moved the frig and cleaned under it. Cleaned the frig out. Cleaned the inside and outside of the stove. Moved all the furniture when they vaccumed.
I would say that that is a hard worker.
However, I have seen the work of several hispanic males and most of them are lazy.

Wow! You are way out of touch with reality. My Mexican-American husband has awesome work ethics as does his entire family. And, my husband has a Master's degree and is a teacher. You obviously know nothing about Mexican's or their work ethic but instead are are caught in stereotyping people and insulting others to make yourself feel better. Maybe it's your depression you spoke about on your other questions. If this is all your doing with your life, no wonder you're depressed. You should seek counseling to get over your depression and your hatred of others. Good luck to you and I sincerly hope to see your posts in the future apologizing for your racist's remarks.

I think its all stereotyping and generalizations.Like all red heads are hot tempered or all blonds are dumb,or all blacks can dance lol I couldn't resist that one.We have a friend from college and he had no rhythm at all he was a sweet guy but boy did he get trashed by his black friends when he tried to dance.
Ive seen good workers from all races and Ive seem very lazy ones too.Its an individual thing not a race trait.

Same people that started the myth about White men having a good work ethic. Man, the white dude who works with me sits there and trims his toe nails all day and watches porn on the net while I do all the computer programming. Oh, yeah and he was just promoted.
And the Latin lady who runs our division works 50 hour work weeks and helped our profit margin but missed the promotion because our VP has a hard time pronouncing her name.
And the Asian dude downloaded a file with a virus in it and blew up our main frame.
Oh, and my white girl can dance better than Beyonce.
You seem to be right on with your stereotypes!!
Btw. I'm not an immigrant (or a terrorist--SHOCK!!). Was born here.

bring on the thumbs down but to those of you who are stuck on this whole Hispanics being the only ones working in the fields picking crops consider this perhaps its because English is not a requirement for those types of jobs. I've known and worked with many illegals and not a damn one of them spoke decent English most of then did not speak a word of it.

Have you been to mexico? Have you seen the shitty asss jobs those people hold to support the wives they beat and the kids the mass produce?
It takes a lot of work ethic to gut fish 18 hours a day, 90 hours a week and make 20 bucks total.
Have you been to mexico? Not the tourist traps. I mean third world country, naked babies, packs of pigs running the streets back country mexico.
The fact that they survive that government and those conditions long enough to try to come here and do whatever they may now how to do (i admit in most cases trafficing drugs may be all they know) shows some sort of ethic.
If you've been and you've seen their lives, seen their schools, seen what their government does to them, seen the economy and living conditions, maybe then you would have something to say.
Anyone living like those people should have a right to try to get a better life. Even if it is here.
But it SHOULD BE DONE RIGHT. Not by jumping fences.

All speculation aside, I've worked in several manufacturing environments that employ mostly Hispanics. I've seen first-hand how hard these particular people work.
I can only go by my own experience. I cannot make any kind of general blanket statement about the work ethics of any ethnic group.
