they say they are better than US workers, they say they do it for less pay,but their own neigborhoods look like a garbage dump, junk cars, broken beer bottles, garbage all over the alleys and yards and everyone has a shopping cart from the local walmart store in their yard, some have up to five carts, must be well off families.Anyone living nearby knows their property devaluate every year that goes by,the lucky ones that sold their homes, had to settle for less than the price it was worth, the sad part is that the politicians and company owners that are for illegals live away as far as they can from them.wouldn't it be great to have all the illegals living next to Ted Kennedy's mansion or George W Bush's ranch?

With all due respect Gokart 121,neither the mexican government nor Bush will fix the problems in mexico,The presidents of mexico have found out,it's more economic for them to send their problems to the US,and Bush's solution is to make every illegal a US citizen thus creating a more powerful magnet to come across the border and in the process sending people that have been waiting for years to come to the USA legally, to the back of the line, two years from now everyone will try to forget there ever was a president Bush, hopely the next president will put it's citizens welfare first, instead of illegal aliens

You're into blanket statements there, magneto, those are usually off the mark by a fair margin...I've met some pretty nice respectable people from Mexico, too, drive a nice car, business suit, the whole trip...up-town-type people. We've got 'trailer trash' in america, they've got 'trailer trash' in Mexico...bluntly spoken, most of the illegal immigration issue revolves around the poor,
people who are well-off don't jump the fence. Comma. It's not america's job to support Mexico's poor, nor should we be cherry-picking among illegal aliens based on economic performance, that's selective enforcement, and not in keeping with the letter OR the spirit of the law.

The best of all possible answers, I think, is kind of like what Bush seems to be doing, trying to work closely with Mexico to get their economy's *** out of the mud, and encourage people there to support maybe more social services for their own citizens, so that people don't have to risk life and limb sneaking into the United States in the dead of night in association with drug smugglers and worse. Mexico has a 1 trillion dollar GDP. If everyone kicked in 10 pesos, that'd be a lot of pesos to build hospitals and schools and roads and jails and homeless shelters and and and... IN Mexico...

They're not better workers then U.S legal citizens,
Since when have you ever seen an illegal citizen working anywhere else but behind a lawn mower or in fields.
I sure as hell have never seen one behind a desk.

Obviously the truth hurts some people.

Not that all Mexicans are good at that, but the ones that are are probably so busy cleaning up and doing work for other people that they don't have time to clean up or do work for themselves.

They usually live in slums. Doesn't matter how much you clean if everyone dumps trash. Go to any slum no matter what ethnic makeup it is and tell me it's clean.
