Religion is only a means of control, its sole purpose is to divert from reality.

Many, in my guess about 90% of americans, have some worship or understanding of God, but Jesus is the only way to heaven, wich is probebly about 20-40% of americans who are actually saved.
This doesn't mean that you can't worship however you want to. Doing good things like keeping morals is great, but once someone sins (And we all know that everybody sins, it even says so in the bible) there is a price. The price is Death. (That is, Hell) No one can hide their bad things from God by outweighing their good things. It doesn't work that way.
When people say that Jesus is the one way to heaven, they are right. Jesus paid for the price of Death, and conquerored it three days after we was nailed to the cross. As the bible says,
"That if you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9 -10
It isn't much, but thats only because the hard stuff has allready been taken care of by Jesus!
Now as for your worship, you can pick practically any way that lets you reflect on God. you could meditate on the Lord (Not the buddhism kind of meditation) or Read through some of the great stories of the bible, or most commonly, listen to worship songs by christian rock bands (Or any stuly of music).
Hope that helps.

I believe and worship God but as for Jesus he was a vary intelligent and intellectual man, he had the ability to speak well and use his above average intelligence to teach morals for people to live by back then, we have many people today that has that same intelligence and intellect that do the same today, I do not believe in "hell the devil or sin" these three words where used back then and are used today to control the flock, Moses used them to control the tribes, when man first came upon the earth he was much like an animal, it wasn't until he started to eat meat that his brain started to grow, protein is what makes our brain grow, as our intelligence and intellect grew so did community and I believe this is how the laws of the land began.

Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. The New Testament says many times that we cannot receive salvation through our works, so good morals alone won't get you to heaven (illustrated in Romans 9:30-33). This God you are worshiping is not the true God, which is to say you have created your own God. Repent, accept Christ Jesus into your heart, and follow Him and you won't have to worry about burning in hell.

The bible teaches that you MUST believe that Jesus died and rose for our sins> If not, then you will not go to heaven> morals are good, but to get to heaven you need Jesus Christ>
"I am the truth the way and the life, no one comes to the father except through me." John 14:6

It is best for everybody to live by good morals. Makes for a good life.
But to get to Heaven your Spirit has to be Recreated.
To get your Spirit Recreated (Saved), you Have to Believe in Jesus Christ, come in the Flesh and Risen from the Dead by the Father Above.
If thy shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (Jesus is Lord) and Believe in thy Heart that GOD raised HIM from the Dead thy shalt be Saved.
Now, if you call out on GOD and HE Recreates your Spirit First, then you will find out about who JESUS is later on.
Remember Saul? (Apostle Paul) He was knocked off of his horse and got Born-Again befor he hit the Ground! After he hit the Ground he said LORD Who art Thou?
But he had heard about Jesus befor that, just didn't Believe in Him till GOD knocked some Sense into him.
GOD has Secrets and can Reach People in the Strangest Ways and in the Nick of Time too.

We will be burning together if that's the case Aubrey.
I don't buy a lot of that nonsense either. Seems to me that a lot of what religion says amounts to little more than a lie about God. I suggest that you get a copy of the course in miracles. It is sort of a guide book for people who believe in God but can't buy into the things that religion promotes.

What we are expected to do as Christians is clear cut. The Bible outlines what we are to do, how we are to live, and the plan of salvation. If you believe in God, you must love him and trust him. Believe it all or nothing, there is no in between. As far as burning in hell, only God will decide that, don't let anyone tell you differently.

So you don`t Believe what the Bible says? I think we all worship in our own ways, But when you say you don`t believe in Jesus, the Bible says there is no other name in heaven where by we can be saved, If you don`t believe in Christ how do you plan on getting saved?

Aubrey - God sent His only Son to be the Saviour of the World. He died for the sins of the world - (including mine and yours) because it is impossbile to live a "good enough" life without Jesus. When we die, God will ask us if we are trusting in the Provision He gave us - his Son. If you know the truth - you are responsible to act on it. What will you do with the Truth that you know?

The bible teaches to deny christ is to deny God because God is Christ and Christ is God.
So you can worship in your own way, but just ask yourself.
Does God approve of your own way above his way?
