Fellas can you help me get an understanding. I was dating a guy for almost a year (10 months). I sent him roses to his job for his brithday. He told me he had already left work when they were delivered. A co-worker called him on his cell, to tell him they were there. He called me to confirm that the roses were from me. He told me that he was shocked and no one had ever done anything like that for him before... I told him I wanted to make him happy on his birthday.... Long story short... he became distant after that. We didn't spend anytime together for a week. Then he tells me that I am really special to him.... He can tell that I really care about him and he cares about me. But he's not feeling being in a relationship right now. Just like that it was over.... I asked him who was she and what did I do wrong. He said nothing.... I am trying to be somebody's wife and he's not ready for a committment or marriage. What do you guys think....honest answers only please.....

its seems that he is in a shock when you send him roses, i think in his world only man send roses to woman that's y he cannot accept that, i don know how close does your relationship with him but what you just did gave him pressure, that y he keep on avoiding you imagine a man got roses from someone else and the whole office knows about it, not even every woman like that too. you should let this relationship goin a little bit slow i know you love him but just make it slow, you frn need some time to slowly build up this relationship. if next time you really want to send him something send it when u r dating not at his working place some guys don like that.

if you really think this is the 'one' you r goin to get married still step by step, observe then you will find out weather this guy is ready or not . good luck.

Damm i would feel like a GRADE A STUD MUFFIN if a woman sent me flowers. This guy might be dating several women , some in the office which is okay if he is honest about it.Like he said he may not be ready for a long term relationship or maybe he is . Give him some space without closing all contact . Play it by ear .

I know you said for men only but I could'nt help but read your question. I know what the problem is! He's been in a relationship the whole time and he felt like you were moving to fast and in order to slow things down he had to distant himself from you.Let this be a lesson learned (men are selfish and in it for themselves,he did'ne want a relationship because he was in one already, he just wanted you sexually). At least you'll know now never but a man nothing on his birthday, nothing is better than something!

first off he sounds like a jerk to into his work, secondly there are better out there, but he just dosent have his priorities straight. You did nothing wrong, and if the thought or chance of marriage scares him then he shouldnt be dating period. Or he probably has never been emotionally attached to anything before so thats what i think.

Wow, I've never heard of a case like this before...

I dunno why your boyfriend would suddenly stop dating you for giving him roses... I certainly would've been thrilled to receive roses from a girl.

I'd suggest telling him how you feel. Maybe ask him why he's been acting distant. Whatever you do, be careful with it.

Easy. He is scared of committment.

Not your fault, you deserve better.
