when something is marked as holy it is sanctified, pure, clean , "set apart from"
First of all without the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to be holy.
Once we have the Holy Spirit, we are able to (but don't always choose to) keep our choices clean, to live a pure life, blameless, following God's perfect instruction, living a life set apart- can an outsider tell the difference between you and an unbeliever? Are you trying to hard to 'fit in' the world, trying to make your worldly ways fit with a christian life or are you content to be different- to deliberately be set apart from the world - living a life that glorifies God beginning with obedience to the Lord

I ask the Lord every morning to help be holy just as He is holy. Yes, unless we have help from the Holy Spirit it will be quite difficult. I think being holy is someone who strives to live like Christ. Forgiving, gentle, meek, patient and kind to name a few. Basically as Christians we should ask for the fruits of the Spirit in our own lives in order to be more like Jesus. Those fruits are His very personality. It's hard at times but not impossible.

To be Holy to me, means to live our lives in remebrance of Jesus and try to do what He did. So, that means that the things He said not to do and the things we are to do, that's what we should do. This call to be holy impacts my Christian life because it's kind of hard trying to be like Jesus was and is because He's the only Perfect One. But God's guidance, He'll make a way.

Galatians 6
1Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. 2Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, 5for each one should carry his own load.
Constant prayer is how i get through every day. Am i Holy as in how Jesus says I should be, NO. But through prayer, im being led by the holy spirit to the light. It feels so good to know that im going to a better place. God Bless

we are holy because God has made us so. Paul describes us as ``slaves to righteousness'' (Romans 6:18) So when we sin, we are not behaving like whole people - instead, we contradict ourselves and deny our own identity.

To Honor God with my life - in my thoughts, words and actions. Of course I will mess up - but it is my daily goal. I confess my sins to Him.
