Im usually an fairly outgoing person who can talk to lots of people, but when it comes to talking to girls im a lot quieter until i get to know them better. Would you still date a guy like that?

My husband is a shy guy and I LOVE it. It took him 3 months just to ask me out on a date. And that whole 3 months I didn't even know he wanted to date me he "hid" it so well! He's mysterious, and I feel extra special knowing only I get to know Joel the way I know him and no one else. I feel like I'm truely his. Of course he's not shy around me now, now I can't get him to shut up sometimes! Anyway. Shier people have higher standards it seems. Embrace your shyness and don't change. The way I see it is if you're a shy person, you're a shy person. And the right woman for you is one who loves shy guys. Don't be something your not, cause sooner or later your true personality will show, and you might end up turning that person off and they'll end up not staying with you.

I'm a shy girl but no guys hardly ever talked to me until i just started talking to them and not even caring. Some girls like shy guys and some girls prefer obnoxious guys. Whatever the case you should be who you are and not what you're not. A girl likes an honest guy that's for sure--so be yourself and don't worry about what you aren't. P.S. I would still date a guy if they were like that. Some girls even see it as cute. good luck.

Yep, I've got a crush on a shy guy right now. But the thing is, I'm just as shy as he is. I think we outshy each other, or he likes someone else. [That thought always scares me.] But no one said that just because a guy is shy, that a girl can't date him.

well from my point of view, a shy guy will get me upset to a certain point. im guessing it all depends on how comfortable you feel with that girl. if you can trust her enough with your feelings and being yourself as a outspoken guy then yea she might like you. but if it gets to the point where you talk only when your spoken to then the girl might start worrying. but sometimes the shy ones seem so nice and gentle and you can trust them with your feelings. so yea i would date a shy guy. they are they cutest ones. most of the times.

I love shy guys, they are so sweet. I find guys who are very outgoing and very loud a bit of a turn-off.

i dont really prefer out-going or shy. usually as you said when shy people get to know someone they ease up and become more open. to sum it up, shy guys are usually a lot sweeter than the loud boys.

Yeah I'm shy and I still get laid often. Actually alot of chicks dig me. It helps to be in really great shape and have a nice face though. If you're ugly,fat, and bald, you are screwed.

Yes they do. The guy I am seeing is very shy and it took him 3 years to admit he liked me lol. You have nothing to worry about my dear women do like shy guys.

Kinda....there's a fine line between being a shy sweetheart and a shy serial killer though.....it's hard to tell what you're getting.
