THE (LOVE) OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.
NO MAN CAN SERVE 2 MASTERS.
HE IS EITHER 4 ME OR AGAINST ME.-JESUS.
IF THE LOVE OF THE WORLD IS IN YOU.....THEN YOU ARE NOT ONE OF MY OWN. BECAUSE THE WORLD HATES ME(JESUS) THEY WILL US HATE YOU (US).

Commandment 1 says You shall have no other Gods before me, commandment 2 says You shall make for yourself any graven image or idol. What they mean when they say you cannot serve both God and money is saying that money can end up being a God in your life and you may not even realize it. your greed can start you off. your thinking more about ur money and not about God. if u are thinking about God u wont be worried too much on money because the good thing is to share like God taught us to do. So its either your money of God

"No one can serve two masters," Jesus said. "You cannot serve both God and Money" (Matt. 6:24). Jesus is talking about what we serve, or worship. Some people serve money, he says, but we are to serve God. God is the real source of our security, the real source of the things we need for a quality life and happiness. Money will eventually fail us, no matter how much or little we have. It simply cannot give us the eternal goods that God can.

In the days of Jesus, serve was not an 8 hour day at the local iHop with minimum wage and OSHA. Serve was 24/7 matter of life, death, and future security.
Jesus meant you can't split your security system, support system, life style into two parts.

Money a so needed aspect in our lives, we are constantly being taunted to buy, because buying has become our daily bread. Those with the power of money can make magic happen, you don't buy you starve, see in time they get it all back and the mass thinks they were do a favor. That is the trick in money, to live in their society you must follow their rules and we all know we need money to do the things we accustom to.
Jesus said all things are possible thur him, but the same forces mentioned above would lead us to believe otherwise, even the church leaders are caught up in the money hoopla, look at all their gold, so they have gotten the general public believing in god, thur education have dismissed his saying to a metaphor, people have keep Jesus alive for thousands of years, but have taught us to and gave us the understanding that money is the way.

You have allegiance to ONE person or thing.
The LOVE of money is the root of all evil [note, it is NOT money, but the LOVE of money that leads to all evil]
The commandment is that we shall love the Lord our God and Him only shall we serve. If we "serve" money, focus our time and thoughts on getting money, greed, etc., then money is an "idol". We are not to serve/worship money. Yes, we need money in this world, but it is secondary to our serving Him Who made the Heavens and the Earth and Who made us.

Someone posted:
He means all Jews are greedy animals that Lie, Cheat, & Steal.
Never trust a jew, they killed Gods son
And that is a lie. Perhaps one of the worst of lies; probably a damnable lie.
They are not "animals"; they were in the Temple worshipping the Most High God while most of your ancestors were living in caves or as serfs.
Of course some Jews may lie, cheat5, and steal. There are secular Jews, maybe even atheistic Jews.
But to say the "killed Gods son" is to totalloy misunderstand the whole purpose of the Atonement. He said that He gave His life as a ransom for many. No one took his Life; He laid it down and He took it again. He said He could have called 12,000 angels to set Him free ... but then how would he bring many of us to Glory?

It means that you either put God totally first place in your life or your put money first place totally in your life. You cannot have both God and money sharing first place in your life. You are either going to serve God with your whole heart. Or you are going to have Money as your god.

Jesus says we cave only one master. We live in a materialistic society where many people serve money. They spend all their lives collecting and storing it. only to die and leave it behind. Their desire for money and what it can buy far out weights their commitment to God and spiritual matters. Whatever you store up you will spend much of your time and energy thinking about. Don't fall into the materialistic trap, because "the love of money is the root of all evil 1 Timothy 6:10. Can you honestly say that God and not money, is your Master? One test is to ask which one occupies more of your thoughts, time, and efforts. Money in itself in not evil, but loving it is. God wants us to focus on Him, and He will provide for your needs. too many people want it all.

Don't make a Religion out of the Love of Money.
Love GOD First and Most.
Don't Love anything more than GOD.
Why?
Cause HE is Egotistical?
Not at all.
If you will Love GOD more than Anything Else FIRST----Everthing Else will work out Right and you will have a Great Family, Great Friends, Great Home, Great City to Live in, Great Country etc. we will ALL have to be that way to get some of these things to happen.
If MY People Who are Called by MY Name, will Humble themselves and Pray so on so on.

Well I think it means when you are in the business of making money...you are usually screwing people to some extent.
When money is more valuable then a human being, I think you have some problems. That's why all the billionaires give most of their money away...because they feel empty. Historically they wrecked a lot of peoples lives to get to the top....
