andy c,
Well, the first thing that I do is see the circumstance that I am in, or the one that is coming. Then I figure out what promise to faith on.

If I'm sick:
Exodus 15:26 . . . for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

If I'm distressed:
Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

If I am in the midst of trouble:
Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Through it all I pray, "And I will yet praise Thee oh Lord, I will yet praise Thee."

EDIT: The point is; I lean on Him more.

Truthfully - I get a little fearful at first - and then I speak to Him a lot in prayer and journaling. I read the Word and surround myself with my Christian friends and ask for prayer for wisdom and direction. When I go through testing I really don't like it at the time, but am always greatful for the life lessons when I get to the other side of the test when I realize how He has guided me in growth and maturity.
p.s. I also delve into the word and hang on to certain scriptures.
What do you do? :)

By Faith.
By the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of Your Testamony.
And Sometimes, calling out on the Lord!
Those who call on the Lord WILL be Saved.
Thats includes more than just Basic Salvation to get to Heaven!

Sorry but in my opinion God ain't real.
He was never real of course I'm sure there is 1 trillion people who believe he is-good for them! Woo hoo! Way to go believers!
Anyway, when I'm tested by your imaginary source I usually just get angry and then just hate everyone and everything.

Prayer and meditation. The answers are in you, just look inside. Each day is a test.
