yes, you have become a terrorist. You are making them afraid of you and could very well cause them to hate you. You can get them to learn Bible verses if you show them that you are truly interested in what they are doing by being a part of it all. Learn the verses with them, invent ways that makes it fun. Create stories that will help them remember the verses. (etc.) Have fun.

umm definitely! for one reason just because you may be interested in bible verses doesn't mean they are...and you don't need to be a good catholic to remember the bible...i am in a theology class and it's absolutely impossible to remember any of this and I am in college. Also I am a nursing student so if I really really have to study hard at science A&P notes and that's even hard to retain...forget about the bible...

Interesting. An anonymous person makes fun of some concept important to Christianity, and the Christians are upset by it. Good thing everybody on this board is at least minimally educated and has food to eat, or we'd be faced with bunch of rioting Christians!

Let's see... I'm trying to remember any, AND I DO MEAN ANY, doctrine that advocates learning by nailing to a cross. Nope, not specifically a cross. Probably better find a different way to motivate Christian study. I assume you are trying to motivate Christian study?

Yeah you're coming off as a bible beater you need to relax and stop shoving your beliefs and views on your kids and be their parent not some hard nosed priest who's hard bent on keeping the kids on the straight and narrow.

I would say YES. You would not actaully nail them to a cross and it seems to be joking around a bit with the sacrifice jesus made

Of course it's wrong!! You want THEM to learn what is right and you stand over them ready to threaten and punish them for that? A little hypocritical, don't you think? Shame on you!! Who's the adult here!?!

I pray you are kidding. Bible verses are good for knowledge, however parents are good for everything else. Do you want to create psychos????

Yes both in God's eyes and man it is murder. You need to learn your own bible verse ."thou shall not kill." And you need to get help if you actually told your kids this.

If you actually have a cross to nail them to, then it's already too late.
