Im doing a homework for JROTC and i dont know what the word mean. I got the defanition down but dont kno what the meaning is i need help. Here it is. A standard, rule, or test on which a judgement or desion can be base.

It basicly trains you and lets u know what u will be going through if you go to the marines, army, or etc... it prepares u for what is ahead of you, and gives you a idea of what it will be like. It is awesome, i took it for 4 years in high school. Loved it!!!

far as i know it stands for junior rotc...? which i thought was a military term. idk.
