What an incredible generalization. I'm a Christian, and I've attended many non-Christian services. I'm close with a number of people in the Pagan community here, and also count quite a few atheists as my friends. Last Sunday afternoon, I was hanging out with a Hindu. I enjoy the opportunity to learn about the beliefs of others first-hand, rather than depending upon mere hearsay. Of course, we can--and should--learn from other religions.

Admiting that one's religion might not be the only right one makes people very uncomfortable and scared. Jesus did say that HE was the only way, just like any other main figure in any other "revealed" religion.
If you start looking at other religions and sift through the stuff that contradicts, you will find that all these different religions start saying the same things.

I am a Christian. I learn from every person I talk to and each experience I have. Why is there so much anger directed at all Christian people because of the bad ones.....there are probably really nice and really rotten people in all faiths.....why lump everyone into one group......why don't we learn to treat people on an individual basis?!

If a religion teaches that belief in Jesus Christ, asking Him into your heart and studying and adhering to God's Word is the right way, then I agree with them. If they don't, then I do not agree with them. I cannot learn anything from a religion that I do not agree with. They do not have anything to teach me that I cannot get from the Holy Bible.

Why do all other religions not see that they are false? That would be a better question. The answer is simple. Satan and his influence takes advantage of peoples own wants, desires, ego, etc, which only helps them become more stubborn and unwilling to recognize and accept God for who and what he is. Simply the same things that help folks in their not accepting Gods word.

I have studied different religions and most of them think they are the only ones. Christians mainly observe the right as church goers. Who is really to say what is right and what is wrong. In the end we will all find out one way or another.

ok right that's the way it works. Christians bypass by ability of what their practise manual says (that often is the Christian Bible) and not by ability of what the international has to declare, or by ability of the guiding gentle of their very own biased opinion. for this reason the ordinary reason Christians have faith that one and all different religions are incorrect is with the aid of fact the Bibles tells us so and particular it does propose that individuals who follow different religions are going to hell. My opinion, being which you asked, and biased because it could be, is that i does no longer supply you 2 cents for an “all roads bring about heaven” faith besides. It’s organic lukewarm spit it out of your mouth stale water. the two you think in something or you don’t. there is an previous asserting that “hell is paved with sturdy intentions” and that’s precisely what you have once you think of that one and all religions are suitable; sturdy intentions and not something extra.

not all religions are wrong. many are though. we can know this by their teachings, if it does not follow with Gods word, its a false religion...Jesus said there would be "many false prophets" who should arise "and deceive many" (Matt. 24:11). The Holy Spirit made a similar statement (1 Jn. 4:1). As Peter said, "there were false prophets" among the people of the Old Testament, and even so "there shall be false teachers among you" (2 Pet. 2:1). as the Spirit of God says, "many false prophets," are there not also "many false religions" (1 Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:4-6)?

Think about it: If someone told you that 1+1 equals 6, would you call it "close-minded" to disagree? No... I have seen what Christ has done in my life and that is proof enough that he is the One true way. NO exceptions. And, no one ever said we can't learn from other religions. We can. They're just false.
