After all, they are all well deserved.
You MUST admit that rioting over a caricature of mohammed is just a TEENY bit on the insane side.
Right? You MUST admit that, because it is the truth.
Right?

Chari,
Granted but that only applies to muslims. Surely you don't expect NORMAL people to adhere to your insane rules and bronze-age mythology do you?
Because that would be even MORE insane!

Well I agree riots are a bit much, I wish Muslims would riot against "Muslims" who commit terrorism.

Why do Muslims get offended someone draws a picture of Prophet Muhammah (pbuh) or any other prophet for that matter? Because it isn't allowed in Islam, it's disrespectful and Muhammad (pbuh) himself did not want people doing so because he wanted to prevent people from worshipping him instead of God.

The problem is not the caricature but the fact that we do not represent any prophet or even people near prophet Muhammed (PBUH)with pictures. Pictures of things to worship or be represing divity of any sort are forbbiden in Islam. You know how people have saints and they have statues and what not... we are not allow to have things like this, because we are to believe in God alone and not worship false idols :). Our prophet did not want people drawing pictures of hm either!

Hehehehe I had to laugh you know in a perfect world that would be the case, but you know this kinda offends people a bit and it makes them upset. I really do not want to say anything bad about anyone's religion or do anything that will offend them. You know... My husband says it might be small to you but is huge to me.... I guess I did not understand this till I saw your question,,,, :)

Geat question by the way and I am not offended I think is Good you asked it!

consider someone spitting on my grave; how offensive would that be? It's the same concept with the prophet Muhamad (pbuh) whom 1.5 billion people view as their prophet. Rioting: perhaps a bit too much; killing: out of the question. Whoever drew those pictures knew well they were just stirring up controversary and offending millions of Muslims. But I do respect at least your sensitivity towards the Muslims in the way that you phrased the question. Thanks and peace! :-)

good advice. And dont you be offended when a muslim leader starts generalizing and saying false things or making cartoons of jesus with a bomb. Beacuse You MUST admit its a TEENY bit on the insane side to get a TEENY bit offended.

Yeah, it is a little bit of a generalisation to blame all Muslims for the actions of a few. This is where stereotyping and racism starts.
