Oliver Cowdery, David Whitmer, and Martin Harris.
They testified:
1- That they had seen the golden plates
2- That the plates have been translated by the power of God
3- That they have seen the engravings on the plates

Martin Harris was excommunicated later. And sadly eventually all 3 left the church

And 8 more were also witnesses:
Christian Whitmer
Jacob Whitmer
Peter Whitmer
John Whitmer
Hiram Page
Joseph Smith Sen.
Hyrum Smith
Samuel Smith

And if you want it word-for-word:
THE TESTIMONY OF THREE WITNESSES
Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come: That we, through the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen the plates which contain this record, which is a record of the people of Nephi, and also of the Lamanites, their brethren, and also of the people of Jared, who came from the tower of which hath been spoken. And we also know that they have been translated by the gift and power of God, for his voice hath declared it unto us; wherefore we know of a surety that the work is true. And we also testify that we have seen the engravings which are upon the plates; and they have been shown unto us by the power of God, and not of man. And we declare with words of soberness, that an angel of God came down from heaven, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the plates, and the engravings thereon; and we know that it is by the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, that we beheld and bear record that these things are true. And it is marvelous in our eyes. Nevertheless, the voice of the Lord commanded us that we should bear record of it; wherefore, to be obedient unto the commandments of God, we bear testimony of these things. And we know that if we are faithful in Christ, we shall rid our garments of the blood of all men, and be found spotless before the judgment-seat of Christ, and shall dwell with him eternally in the heavens. And the honor be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, which is one God. Amen.
Oliver Cowdery
David Whitmer
Martin Harris

THE TESTIMONY OF EIGHT WITNESSES
Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come: That Joseph Smith, Jun., the translator of this work, has shown unto us the plates of which hath been spoken, which have the appearance of gold; and as many of the leaves as the said Smith has translated we did handle with our hands; and we also saw the engravings thereon, all of which has the appearance of ancient work, and of curious workmanship. And this we bear record with words of soberness, that the said Smith has shown unto us, for we have seen and hefted, and know of a surety that the said Smith has got the plates of which we have spoken. And we give our names unto the world, to witness unto the world that which we have seen. And we lie not, God bearing witness of it.
Christian Whitmer
Jacob Whitmer
Peter Whitmer, Jun
John Whitmer
Hiram Page
Joseph Smith, Sen
Hyrum Smith
Samuel H. Smith

The three witnesses were Oliver Cowdrey, David Whitmer, and Martin Harris. They testified that they had seen the plates, they heard the voice of God, they saw an angel and also the engravings on the plates. Each of them was excommunicated. Oliver Cowdrey was rebaptized in 1848, Martin Harris in 1870.

It should be noted that not one of these men ever denied their testimony of the Book of Mormon - even through their separation from the church.

There were 8 other witnesses. They saw the plates, and the engravings and they handled them.

Well it seems you have all the arrogant and asinine answers you need. Perhaps you missed them as they attempted to disguise their ignorance, intolerance and lack of manner's their foster parents should have taught them in snappy, crisp original thinking. Especial all of you that repeated what the other said....mindless drones of the under educated. What a pity since with the exception of the 2-3 people polite enough to provide you a start on your answer this irreverent funny guy didn't leave me any room to provide the rest of the answers to your question. Pity, since I used to teach this...and other religious courses at the University level as a guest lecture.

And sorry guys, I would be this disappointed if you treated Catholics, Lutherans, Protestants and any other Christian religion with the same disrespect. In fact any religion....

But that's OK....that's the great thing about the USA...Freedom of Speech, expression and religion. And I know that religion isn't for everyone. So you guys go back to you video games and try for that next level....what an accomplishment that must be for you.

And in the mouth of three witnesses shall these things be established; and the testimony of three, and this work, in the which shall be shown forth the power of God and also his word, of which the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost bear record-and all this shall stand as a testimony against the world at the last day. (Ether 5:2-4)

The Three Witnesses, Oliver Cowdery, Martin Harris and David Whitmer,

all initially describe their experience with the angel and the plates as subjective and visionary rather than objective and concrete.

There weren't 3 witnesses. Those that supported Joseph Smith's claims acknowledged they really didn't see the golden tablets later.
